GoochlandCares has been a safety net for our community since 1952. Our mission is to provide basic human services and health care to our Goochland neighbors in need. GoochlandCares envisions an equitable community in which all persons have their basic needs met, empowering them to lead lives of self-dignity and well-being.

I shop at the Food Pantry every week and I use my credits at the Clothes Closet to get household items and clothes. For the first time in my life, I get regular dental care. Last year, Financial Assistance paid a utility bill. I would not have been able to keep the electricity on that month. Coming here is like coming to see friends.

Our team was able to get a tour from farmer Steve last week and see this beautiful, local Goochland farm feeding families in need.
With only a week left before GCPS goes back to school, we were happy to welcome the Randolph Elementary School team to the shared space in our Community Room. They joined us for their summer planning meeting, and a little volunteering, too!
